I know that one day I will use all (most…some…one?) of these fabric scraps and I am tired of having them jumbled at the bottom of a drawer. It occurred to me yesterday to display the cuties in this apothecary jar. Now I can actually SEE my fabrics and enjoy the little bit of them i have left. Not that you need the how-to, but it’s posted after the jump anyway…
Fold up all your scraps and put them in rainbow order:
Pile them up with the folds facing the same way:
Stack in jar:
Pretty — practical! Love it!
Genius! We all know how attached we get to our fabric. This way you can still take them out and pet them every once in a while.
love this! hate stuffing that gorgeous fabric away never to be found again.
