A Fabric Wonderland: Summer Stash Peek

A slew of the gorgeous threads that we spotted at Spring Quilt Market are hitting fabric shops. It’s a fabric wonderland right now! If you are looking to treat yourself to something pretty, here are some beauties that you won’t want to miss, like the fun farm prints in Violet Craft’s Madrona Road.

Or this sweet cut-and-sew doll house book from Kelly Lee-Creel. This is her debut collection. She is crazy talented and so so sweet in person!

Come, join us on a drool-inducing fabric adventure…
Josephine Kimberling’s new collection is selling out so fast that I could only grab 1/2 yard. I’m thinking bias tape for this beauty!

You might not be thinking Christmas yet but the fabric world is Fa-la-la-ing with this Vintagy Cosmo Cricket collection. Scoop some up before it melts away. HA! ugh.

Triangles are the rage right now. If your are digging all things isosceles, check out Simpatico and the latest from Tula Pink. And if you are crushing on Tula Pink as much as I am, you might need to “invest” in more The Birds & The Bees. I’m seeing a whimsical set of cloth napkins. thoughts?

Still want more Tula Pink? How about get started on some scary sexy sweet Halloween projects with some Tula Pink Nightshade. It’s going fast.
And no Prudent Baby stash peek would be complete without a little love for our friends from Japan. Kokka Japan Echino Decoro that is. The entire collection is quirky fun as usual!

Did I not say fabric wonderland? The new Melody Miller is also now on shelves. Those amazing typewriters are back in stock too. I wouldn’t joke about such things.

And lastly the long awaited Heather Ross Nursery Versery. So charming and sweet.

What is your fav? And what would you make? We love to hear what makes your heart go pitter patter. Personally I’m going to make baby boy a napmat with those pickup trucks!

hey Nora- I did a bit more sleuthing. It looks like you can either make the dollhouses or the book from the panels but for the book you will need both panels (only one is available on fabricworm now) and also need more fabric. There are patterns/instructions available for sale. See Kelly’s website for details.

The instructions for the dollhouses are free on her site.

One more amateur question about the storybook doll house! Are the directions for making is included on the panel or somewhere else? I gotta make this for my daughter!
